Chesterton thoughts -"....at the back of every artist's mind something like a pattern or a type of architecture."
Browsing through Chesterton revealed some great thoughts that I'd like to share here:
"There is at the back of every artist's mind something like a pattern or a type of architecture. The original quality in any man of imagination is imagery. It is a thing like the landscape of his dreams; the sort of world he would like to make or in which he would wish to wander; the strange flora and fauna of his own secret planet; the sort of thing he likes to think about. This general atmosphere, and pattern or structure of growth, governs all his creations, however varied."

Google - The Beggining of Informational Clarity

In an epoch of informational chaos and global unrest Google is trully making a difference.There are many one sided, narrowed views on various services that were born at Googleplex. In some they've caused fears and dismay , few are neutral to them and do not really care , for many they have been a great source of inspiration and happiness .
Healthy sceptisism should not be confused with poor judgement, since those are diametrically oposed activities of our brains. By now it must be made clear that Google is the most democratic , most user friendly phenomenon that has ever been created on the web. The sphere of information is a crucial , perhaps the most critical activity that human kind depends on .
Wars, fears, diseases , eternal sufferings of human kind are most of the time direct result of the luck or inability to access information , it is something that paralizes consciousness bringing it to the halt of unbearable indesiciveness. Sergey and Larry are indeed serious about information , they were the first two people who clearly voiced the necessity and importance of the Search.
They were the first to perceive the need for drawing clear and critically important line between the quantity of information and its quality. Before google web was sinking in a vast ocean of unconscios bits, the information pearls were deeply buried "underwater" in endless comercial links and enslaving ad schemes of labirintic nature. Today those are clearly separated, and we must be thankfull for that.
Another relieve that Sergey & Larry have blessed us with is related to the activity that web has started with , the activity that internet was all about in its initial stage . It's our ability to communicate via email . Gmail is something that will forever change the webscape .
It is a true liberation of email service. Never will you receive an alarming red bar that MSN entrusts on its users with a scary "Almost out of Space" message. I wonder if Bill Gates himself uses his free 2mb email box. Sergey & Larry do , they themselves use gmail , same exact service that they bring to the public, and it is incredible!
